Few things in life rival the simple pleasure of a well-made latte or cappuccino, but when summer rolls around, swapping out that steaming cup for an iced version hits just right—especially when you’re strolling through a local car meetup, soaking in the sights and sounds of roaring engines and gleaming machines.

As I’ve said before, life’s too short to drive boring cars or drink bad coffee. Just like a car should have character, power, and personality, your coffee should be just as bold and satisfying. There’s no reason to settle for watered-down, uninspired iced coffee when you can make something exceptional right at home.

With that in mind, here are a few go-to iced coffee recipes that are quick, easy, and guaranteed to elevate your summer caffeine game—whether you're gearing up for a morning drive, cooling down after a spirited ride, or just enjoying a slow afternoon in the garage.

This homemade iced coffee is smooth, bold, and refreshing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup freshly brewed coffee (cooled)

  • Ice cubes

  • 2 tbsp milk or cream (optional)

  • 1–2 tsp sugar or sweetener (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brew a strong cup of coffee and let it cool to room temperature. For the best flavor, use cold brew coffee or refrigerate your coffee for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the cooled coffee over the ice.

  3. Add milk, cream, or a sweetener if desired. Stir well.

  4. Enjoy your homemade iced coffee!

Pro Tip:

For a bolder taste, make coffee ice cubes by freezing brewed coffee in an ice cube tray.
